The waiting game……….

All eyes are on the Criminal Court out of San Luis Rio Colorado. The judge is to rule on the guilt or innocence of the defendants (case # 170/07) and what their sentence will be (if any). He should rule this week!! This is by far, the most important upcoming news. Will justice prevail??? The million dollar question!!!

Several people have written to me asking me to update the Spanish version of this blog. Unfortunately, I find it too difficult to express myself and still contain the anger, frustration and contempt I feel for certain circumstances, agencies and some people (politicians included on both sides of the border). To that end, I will not continue the Spanish version and plan to take it down once we are back on our legally purchased and titled land and the cancer is dealt with in El Golfo! Hopefully, it will not be too much longer.

Golfo highway blocked again

The road to El Golfo from San Luis and from Puerto Penasco continues to have protestors block passage to tourist. It makes perfect sense; block economic aid from reaching the people who need it the most! click for article

Illegal fishing should be permitted same as attacking American investors of El Golfo real estate and kicking them off their land should be legal as well!! Lawyers for ejido QUIT!!

Because of lack of trust amongst the ejido and their lawyers (not even their own lawyers trust them) the ejido lawyers have decided on principal to part ways and NOT represent them in the agrarian court. Notice the first name on the defendants side, his son is the federal official in the Agrarian Attorney General’s office that is using his official position and influence to obstruct justice in our case. Highway closed to all traffic

Because some local fishermen were caught in illegal fishing, their boats were confiscated and their families are not pleased so they have started a “Sit in” on the T intersection of the new coastal highway between Puerto Penasco (aka Rocky Point) and El Golfo, El Golfo and San Luis RC. SO if you plan to visit El Golfo be prepared to deal with this issue. This is the type of ANARCHY that exists in El Golfo, it is tolerated because ” these people are voters”! Spring Break

Some people are writing to me to inquire if it is safe to visit El Golfo for spring break. I didn’t envision that kind of reporting on this blog; but, it wont hurt me if I pass along my opinion of El Golfo for the tourist.

This my account of El Golfo for the tourist.

The biggest safety concern that the tourist will face during these vacation periods is the LOUSY highway! Not safe to travel for people in motor homes or vehicles pulling large trailers or heavy weight especially at night. Given the current condition of disrepair and construction and the LONG detours along side that consists of packed dirt and sand coupled with the heavy traffic expected and the ALCOHOL consumed by the vacationing locals makes for one LONG and dangerous trip for the foreign tourist!!!! click here for local article in SpanishSorry for the run on sentences but ……

The Yuma Sun out of Yuma Arizona won’t print the truth about El Golfo, but I will and do!

As for dangerous conditions in El Golfo, you should be very careful of the DRUNK reckless drivers that like racing up El Machorro lighthouse hill with no regards to the safety of others. And the second thing you must watch out for is the status of your ice chest / cooler because that will disappear in a heart beat, especially if you are camped on the beach or in the hut area in front of EL Capitan.

Beer, shrimp and tasty Curvina are cheap and plentiful.

The only really other dangerous condition is for the American investor that wants to go and claim their land, they have cocktails made especially for you; they call them Molotov Cocktails and they serve them with Machetes!!! Invest at your own risk!

Moral of the story is; Visit El Golfo, but don’t buy real estate there!!

This picture was taken the day they forcibly (see video) threw us off the land including the policeman pointing at my camera ordering me to stop taking pictures.

Two of these criminals elected to go the Amparo route (Federal injunction basically) and were denied so they appealed that decision and were DENIED again! One of these criminals didn’t bother to seek protection of the federal government. (click here for appeal of Amparo)

Criminal matter case #170/2007 against four of the defendants has closing arguments submitted. We await sentencing. The $64,000 question is; will justice prevail and punish these criminals and finally cut out the cancer that has decimated this fishing community or will they continue to rule by ANARCHY??!!!!!!

The State of Sonora claims that the problems of El Golfo are “social” in nature. I say they are a problem for the “society” because it allows the CANCER to grow and spread; and left unchecked will continue to destroy this small fishing community! (Click for the interview)

This is a complaint to President Calderon, filed by a Mexican Citizen resident of El Golfo about the problems cause by the local terrorists that have investment at a stand still. i have blocked the identity of this individual out to protect the innocent. (click here)

One of the bureaucrats that was instructed to investigate the matter per the order of the federal government is actually a member of the terrorist organization that he is investigating and whose father is one of the persons that threaten me with the use of machetes to force us off “their” land! How, is that for full disclosure. How do I know he is a member of this terrorist group? Click here to view the internal terrorist group’s land distribution agreement. He is not only mentioned by name, but his signature and thumbprint is included. A federal investigation out of Mexico City has been launched into this MAJOR CONFLICT OF INTEREST!

The state is looking for additional investors for El Golfo because (supposedly) “current investors don’t like what they see with the lack of infrastructure” They neglect to mention (like always) the FRAUD and criminal activity of the terrorist group that acts with complete impunity when they attack American investors! Why would other investors invest in El Golfo in good conscience if the state is unwilling or unable to protect the interests of those investors already there????

As soon as I can locate my digital copy of the infamous agreement ending the conflict in El Golfo, I will upload it so you to can be a witness to the type of FRAUD that is ok in everyday real estate practices in Sonora and is condoned! I inadvertently deleted it I guess by accident from my Spanish version of this blog.


This will be your money if you decide to ignore the warnings of this blog and invest in El Golfo real estate!
